Description:
Known for its Scandinavian heritage, this hip and historic Seattle neighborhood can really party. Streets shut down, out come the tents and the eating begins. Only in Ballard does every food vendor serve at least one seafood entree. From the Chamber's famous alder BBQ salmon, to a manner of shrimp, crab, oysters, haddock and clams, there's something for everyone! A pint of Ballard's own micro-brew in the optional beer garden is a great compliment. It's the perfect place to feed your inner Viking!

Held amidst historic buildings along beautiful Salmon Bay, Seafoodfest celebrates Ballard's rich maritime history and 34 years of fun, food and frivolity! The festival features great music from Stan Boreson, tunes by Brave Combo and Willey & the Wild West Show. Don't miss the arts & crafts, kids' acitivities and plenty of local restaurants and shopping.
